Recently we popped over to Ford HQ in Australia to see just what they would be doing there after production of the Falcon stops.
Quite a lot, as it turns out. You see Ford Oz is a “Centre of Excellence” in the wider Ford world, meaning that they take the lead in the design and engineering of new models that they are considered to be experts in – the current Ranger and upcoming Everest SUV being the most significant local examples.
