Allan McNish is well known for being Scottish. He also used to be a racing driver. He has just been hired by the BBC to be a talking head for their F1 coverage.
He is also one of the few people who not only has F1 experience, he also has vast experience driving the latest technology hybrid Energy Recovery racing cars with his time at Audi in the Le Mans series, putting him in a unique position to understand just what the 2014 F1 cars will likely be like to drive.
