Continental Cars back special Porsche shootout at CRC Speedshow
A Porsche Cayman sporting the familiar and iconic Martini Racing livery will take centre stage in CRC Speedshow’s live action arena this weekend.
In a fun challenge, five drivers will strive for their best lap time in the Porsche Cayman in the Continental Cars Supercar Challenge; this Top 5 Shootout forms part of the entertainment at the 19-20 July running of CRC Speedshow at Auckland’s ASB Showgrounds.
CRC Speedshow director Ross Prevette says: “While the challenge is intended to be light-hearted entertainment, knowing the competitive personalities of Paul Radisich, Angus Fogg, Simon Evans, ‘Racing Ray’ Williams and Andy Booth, we can expect them all to take the timed lap challenge pretty seriously.”
Continental Cars Ferrari will be showcasing the 458 Italia in the live action arena during the weekend; and will be utilising the 30,000-plus crowd expected at the two-day show to publicly launch the brand-new, limited edition Ferrari 458 Speciale model and will also feature an Audi RS5 model doing some warmup laps around the tight, tricky CRC Speedshow arena.
