A while back professional skier, rally driver and all-round daredevil nutcase Guerlain Chicherit to set a world record for the world’s longest ramp to ramp jump in a car. It went very badly wrong.
Chicherit suffered only minor injuries in the crash, but it was utterly spectaculer.
Now Chicherit and action-cam maker GoPro have released a video of the attempt and its messy consequences. And it is incredible.
Incredible from both a technical (the slow motion shots from the GoPro cameras are amazing) and emotional (Chicherit’s amazing calmness during the brutal crash, his partner’s reaction to the crash and, of course, the happy ending) point of view.
This is very much worth a watch.
