In today’s BLAST FROM THE PAST we head to Levin in 1969 where Graham McRae is driving the Brabham BT23c that he bought from Laurence Brownlie.

      Sad tale this.

      This was the car Brownlie bought to replace the one totalled in the Hulme crash.

      He sold it to McRae who was going to use it in Europe.

      He didn’t, it went thru several hands until Tom Donovan bought it and striped it for parts to build the Odlins sports car.

      After its life as a Odlin Kenny bought it for the Brabham parts.

      God knows where the remains are now. Some said David Manton owns the chassis.
