Self-driving cars are coming, make no mistake about that. In fact, quite a number are some way down that path already.
That means governments around the world are scrambling to legislate for vehicles that can drive themselves, which is about as tricky as it sounds.
To that end, SAE International has created a scale of automation that is being adopted by car manufacturers and governments around the world.
