It may be shameless, but it is pretty cool.
We are currently in Thailand on the launch of the latest Ford Fiesta. During a break in the drive programme we stopped at the brilliant Thai Elephant Conservation Centre, where we witnessed this shameless, but thoroughly brilliant piece of promotion – an elephant writing the word “FORD” with a paint brush and , appropriately, blue paint.
Perhaps the worst part of all of it was how unsettlingly the elephants penmanship was better than mine…
